Introduction and Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions

The General Conditions of Sale are the only conditions that are applicable and replace all other conditions, except in the case of express. written, prior dispensation. We maintain that, by confirming your order, you have read and do unreservedly accept our general Conditions of Sale. These Terms and Conditions of Sale are important to you and the website as they are used to protect your rights as a valued customer and our rights as a business.

Changes to the Terms of Service and the Website

The website is a work in progress, and as such things may change, be added or be taken away. We reserve the right to update the Website and these Terms of Service from time to time, at our discretion and without any notice. It is solely your responsibility to keep up-to-date with the latest Terms and Conditions by checking back regularly. Your continued use of the Website following the publishing of updated Terms of Service will be taken to mean that you have read and agree to the changes.

Health and Safety

Customer is responsible for the safe handling of all Goods supplied by Realchems, specifically, Goods are supplied on condition Customer shall ensure they are handled only by qualified personnel trained in laboratory procedure and familiar with the potential hazards. Information may not be available on the potential hazards of many chemical compounds. The absence of a warning shall not be interpreted as an indication or representation of safety.

By ordering from RealChems, you are confirming that you are equipped with all of the necessary safety equipment and full knowledge of the appropriate safety procedures. In addition to this, you also agree that you will undertake a proper risk assessment of the way in which you intend to utilise the compounds that you have ordered.

You also agree that by implementing strict procedures in both the handling and usage of the compounds that you have ordered, in your facility or organisation you will not proceed with or allow any actions to be taken that could lead to damage or increased risk of harm of any kind to any property or any persons. You therefore also agree that by ordering, you acknowledge that Realchems will not be held liable for any harm caused as the result of the improper use of any of the products sold on the website.

As a Customer, it is your responsibility to check that the products that you are ordering are legal to buy, import or possess in your country or region. It is also your responsibility to check that it is legal for you to use the products that you order for your intended purpose. Realchems, therefore, accepts no responsibility for any orders, or action taken in relation to the purchase or importation thereof. Realchems reserves the right to refuse to sell research chemicals to anyone suspected of illegally misusing these products in any way

It is illegal to purchase any of the products at realchems.net if you are under the age of 18. By placing an order with Realchems, you legally admit that you are aged 18 or over on the date of purchase, and you also confirm that you are not ordering on behalf of someone who is under the age of 18. Purchasing Realchems products in order to supply them to someone under this age limit is a criminal offence.

All of our products are strictly for laboratory use only and are not approved for human consumption purposes. 

All of our products are high quality, lab tested and have HNMR results available upon request.

Prices

The prices indicated on the website are shown in Euro and do not include delivery. The delivery costs are clearly shown and invoiced at the end of the order in addition to the price of the products. We reserve the right to modify our prices at any moment but this will be indicated to you on the order at the time the order is placed. If an obviously incorrect price appears on our website and is not corrected on your total at the time of order completion, for whatever reason (human error, technical error etc.), your order will be cancelled and the payment refunded to you, even if it has been initially validated.

Delivery

Realchems accepts no responsibility for packages once they enter the postal system. Once it reaches this stage it is out of our control. However, if a package does go missing then we will reship the order provided you selected one of our tracked delivery services provided by DHL. If these types of orders go missing, Relachems will replace and re-send the applicable goods free of charge upon confirmation from DHL that the package can be classified as ‘Lost’, ‘Missing’ or similar. 

If you select the ‘Regular Airmail’ shipping option then we will not re-ship your order if it goes missing therefore we highly recommend you choose a tracked shipping option for high-value orders, especially if you live outside the EU. 

If you order something from Realchems that is illegal in your country at the time of placing the order, and Realchems are unaware of this and post the item, it is assumed that you have the equivalent of a Home Office licence that allows you to import and possess said chemical/s in your country of residence or any other country to which you direct the order.

Orders seized by customs will not be replaced however they are sent - it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that they have the lawful authority and obtain any licenses that may be required to import and possess the products they are purchasing into their country, and to deal with their customs agents if an improper seizure is performed.

Right of Return

For reasons of safety, a return is only accepted if the product or products are unopened and undamaged. If the seal is broken, or the packaging has been opened, we cannot accept the return.

For reimbursements

No refunds will be granted after 180 days post-purchase.

Privacy and protection of personal data

The details you give us are essential for the processing and delivery of your orders, for billing and for the establishment of warranty contracts, therefore failure to provide these details will result in the cancellation of your order. By registering on the Site, you agree to provide us with sincere and true information as it concerns you. Communicating false information is contrary to the present general Terms and Conditions.

You have the permanent right to access and rectify all the information that concerns you, in accordance with European texts and national laws in place (article 34 of the law of 6 January 1978). You can at any time make a request to the website to find out what personal information we hold concerning you. You may at any time, and by request, modify this information.

Cookies record certain information stored on your hard drive. This information enables us to generate statistics based on data from visitors to our site and suggest products that might interest you according to the items that you selected when you previously visited the site. Cookies do not contain any confidential information about you.

All the content on the website (illustrations, texts, names, brand names, images and videos) is the property of the website . Any partial or total reproduction of this content, by any means and on any support, is subject to prior and express authorisation by the website. All information, content and files is protected by International law concerning intellectual ownership and copyright. the website cannot give you the right to copy, display or distribute content that you do not have intellectual rights to. All fraudulent use of this content that violates the rights held by a third party constitutes an offence of forgery, which is severely punished under Intellectual Property Laws.

Feedback & Comments

Any opinions left on the Website by the website customers are screened and moderated by the website. If the comments infringe on the law or are inappropriate (abusive publicity, defamation, insults, out-of-context commentary etc.…), the website reserves the right to refuse or modify it.
